Hand Baggage

Hand baggage is considered the baggage that you transport in the passenger’s cabin and which will be placed under your seat, in front of you or in the baggage compartment above. All passengers are entitled to one single hand baggage. Following rules/charges for hand baggage apply on Fly One flights until 13.10.2019:

The sum of dimensions will be considered including the wheels, handle or lateral pockets. In order to not create inconveniences to other passengers, the hand luggage exceeding these norms will be transported as registered luggage, in the airplane’s luggage department.

A special “gate baggage fee” of 60EUR (75EUR for travel from 14.10.2019) will be charged if passenger’s hand baggage will exceed specified above permitted norms while boarding at the gate.

Besides the hand luggage, the following items are allowed, in case of strict necessity:

For all the passengers, except the children up to 2 years old:

  • 1 coat, shawl or blanket
  • 1 umbrella or cane
  • 1 video/photo camera or binocular

Children of up to 2 years old:

  • Food for babies, destined to be consumed on board
  • A little basket for babies
  • Pliable pushchair (that will be handed over before entering the airplane)

Passengers with limited mobility

  • 1 wheelchair / 1 pair of crutches or another device that the passenger depends on

It is recommended that you have all your documents and precious documents, electronic equipment , money, credit cards and jewellery , medicine and other precious or necessary objects with you, on board. It is PROHIBITED to have the following items in the hand luggage: Fire guns, pistols, grenades and other devices that launch projectiles. Devices that can be used or seem that can be used in order to cause serious

injuries, by launching projectiles, including:

  • Fire guns (any kind), like pistols, revolvers, carbines, rifles
  • toy guns and copy or imitation of such firearms which could be confused with real lethal weapons;
  • component parts of firearms, excluding telescopes;
  • airsoft guns and CO2 (pistol, rifle shot, rifle, pistol balls)
  • sporting guns as flare launchers and pistols;
  • bows, crossbows and arrows for them;
  • hooks or harpoons launchers;
  • slingshots and catapults;

The self-protection devices, like device with paralyzing effect – created especially to paralyze or immobilize, are also prohibited, including:

  • electroshock devices, electroshock guns, stun gun (taser) and electroshock canes;
  • stunning devices and devices of killing animals;
  • chemicals, gases and sprays neutralizing and incapacitating sprays as irritating substances, tear sprays, hot pepper sprays, tear gas, acid
  • sprays, and spray sites with repellent substances for animals.

The objects with a sharp tip or sharp edge, which can be used to cause serious physical injuries:

  • items designed for chopping, such as ax, hatchet, etc;
  • axes and chisels to break the ice;
  • razors;
  • cutters (paper, cardboard);
  • knives / and / or blades of more than 6 cm;
  • scissors blades which are larger than 6 cm (measured from the axis);
  • martial arts equipment, pointed or sharp blade;
  • Swords and / or swords;

Work instruments – instruments that can cause both serious physical injuries, both affect the airplane’s security, such as:

  • crowbars; drills and drill bits, drills including cordless portable instruments;
  • tools with a blade or a shaft of more than 6 cm, which can be used as weapons, such as a screwdriver or chisel;
  • saw, including electric saws, portable, wireless;
  • blowtorches;
  • nailing guns and rivet guns

Explosives that can be used or seem that could be used for causing serious physical injuries or endanger the airplane’s security:

  • munitions;
  • Removable caps;
  • detonators and fuses for them;
  • imitations or copies explosive devices;
  • mines, grenades and other explosive military
  • fireworks and other pyrotechnics;
  • smoke bombs and cartridges;
  • dynamite, gunpowder, plastic explosives.
